🐝 Sundarban Honey
Sundarban Honey is a unique, wild forest honey collected from the pristine mangrove forests of the Sundarbans, spanning parts of West Bengal, India and southern Bangladesh. This golden, nutrient-rich honey is sourced from flowers of various mangrove plants and primarily collected by traditional honey-hunters called moules during the flowering season—typically from March to May.
In 2024, Sundarban Honey was granted Geographical Indication (GI) status in India, officially recognizing its origin and authenticity from the South and North 24 Parganas districts of West Bengal.
